There are two main types of handles in the mechanical accessories industry: plastic and steel. Steel parts are machined and cast parts. Plastic handles are available in thermosets and thermoplastics. 1. Lathe processing steel parts:

Three: Thermosetting plastic handle
First of all, let me introduce that the raw material used to make thermosetting plastic handles is phenolic plastic, commonly known as bakelite, bakelite, and the English abbreviation PF. The bakelite handle has the properties of insulation, friction resistance, no hand injury, strong hardness, no pollution, corrosion resistance, and a bright surface.

4. The screws and threads of the handle are embedded in the bakelite handle. It is best to do a destructive experiment on the firmness of the metal part and the bakelite handle part. Generally speaking, the screws embedded in the handle must have a hexagonal nut and a full thread to prevent the screw from rotating 360 degrees in the handle or falling off. Some manufacturers will also add a hexagonal nut on the basis of the hexagonal nut full-thread bolt. enhance its firmness.

Differences between thermoset and thermoplastic handles:
Thermosetting plastics have high mechanical strength and a bright surface. It has good corrosion resistance, a wide range of temperature resistance conditions, and no deformation, but it is relatively brittle and cannot withstand heavy blows.
